For Priscilla’s journey, she drew a three-card spread to represent and illuminate the past, present and future. The first card drawn, to represent the past, is an interesting one for this position as many read Judgement as the time when one is judged for their past sins. A more universal reading is to see this card as one’s attempt the reconcile with one’s past, to let go of past wounds, of hurt feelings and mistakes made, to face them, forgive them, and let them go. It’s also a healing card, and a card that signals a big change. Old habits and places are left behind and a new life, a new journey is begun. All of this illustrates Priscilla’s purposes for her journey, to leave her adopted home and travel the world, to heal and renew, to learn and grow.
The second card drawn to illuminate the present, is the Fool, a clean slate wiped of all the past and standing ready to receive and ultimately, dispense wisdom. As with Priscilla and the items she carries with her (broomstick, journal, passport), the Fool carries everything she needs for the journey with her. Her spirits are high, she’s moving forward, the whole world spreads out before her…who knows where the path will lead?
The final card, drawn to reveal the future, is the Star, again another interesting choice as the Star represents the guiding light to the future, and the help and hope one will receive along the way. Healing, clarity, peace and harmony shine in the path to the future like stars along the Milky Way. Priscilla will certainly have much help and guidance along the way, from her hosts and friends and all those following her journey. But as she learns and grows, and, in turn, teaches and helps others on the path, one cannot help but feel the journey will be a successful one.

Like Carol I think this is a most relevant reading Mari. There is clearly much power in those cards. And I meant to say, I love her new name necklace. So much fun.
